Arts Inspired Dance Academy (AIDA) is an award-winning performing arts center in downtown Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, where creativity and child development go hand in hand. We offer dance, drama, art, tumbling, yoga, camps, and enrichment programs for children of all ages in a welcoming, non-competitive environment. Our small class sizes and nurturing approach help students build confidence, creativity, and a love of the arts while developing important life skills both on and off the stage. At AIDA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to shine through the performing arts.

Been attending here for 4 years. My twins have participated in gymnastics, art, ballet, tap and 1/2 day summer camps. They have loved every experience! So many different classes to choose from and if you don’t want commitment, there are drop-in classes and “parent night out” events. Themed tea parties are even held over school breaks! Always something fun to choose from and sibling discounts and multi-class discounts are offered. Ms. Michelle offers fun and creativity along with doses of affirmations and positive feedback. Highly recommend trying a class or 2!
My two girls been attending AIDA for almost 9 years. My eldest is now in en pointe, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and everything in between. Ms. Michelle has helped lean into her love for dance and keeps challenging her - which she loves. My daughter assists with the younger classes because she loves the emphasis on giving back and a fun and safe place for ALL to learn to love dance. This is not a competition studio, but there is focus on a strong foundation with growth mentality, while making classes fun and a place for all skills levels to start their dance journey. My younger daughter learned a foundation for different styles of dance and discipline for learning new routines - which set her up for transition to cheer which is her focus now. Additionally, there are camps and parents night out offers that were wonderful when we took part in them (kiddos aged out), and there are more and more offered each year. There is also afterschool offerings for specific schools with pickup options. So much to offer I am sure I’m missing something, so definitely give their website a look to see all of their offering and their monthly newsletter.
